Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a long established and well regulated physical therapy that can address and help alleviate a wide range of conditions.
Working primarily on muscles, joints and tendons, osteopaths also consider how the body’s internal organs effect and are affected by the neuro-musculo-skeletal system. Osteopathy focuses on the causes of physical problems, as well as the symptoms, and understands the importance of working in harmony with the body’s own self-healing mechanisms.
Treatment is tailored to each person and begins with the taking of a full medical history, careful observation and assessment. A variety of techniques are used including soft tissue stretching, articulation and manipulation, and cranial and visceral techniques.
